Westside Costa Mesa

The Westside of Costa Mesa was one of the first areas in Costa Mesa to see development. With convenient access to Fairview Park and Canyon Park as well as beaches and trails, this area is made up of a diverse population as well as living space.

The area encompasses 2.8 sq miles with Fairview Park bordering the north, the Santa Ana river to the west, Harbor Boulevard and Superior to the east, and the City of Newport Beach to the south.

The Westside Implementation Plan was adopted by the city in 2005 in order to revitalize the area and stimulate improvement.

It encourages the building of mixed-use urban villages as well as the integration of multiple land use designations, such as, commercial, light industrial, high density residential, etc. This allows for the area to continue to grow with it's industrial roots and become a thriving hub of what is considered to be an artistic and economic growth community.

Today you can find some of the areas most unique restaurants, art studios and small businesses. It is a great place to invest as the community goes through gentrification.
